The “B” ticket includes everything except a work space. This doesn’t mean you can’t work, you would just have to share a torch with someone. Cost: $600.00

We are also taking payments: you can reserve your space for a $150.00 NON REFUNDABLE deposit, and pay $50.00 per month until you are paid in full.

The 11th annual Art Glass Invitational (AGI) is an annual week long event held in western Pennsylvania to promote education and camaraderie within the lampworking community.

A wide variety of hands on demonstrations, slide shows, and lectures that take place all day, every day, will be sure to stimulate your creativity and possibly take your career in new directions.

Unlike any other glass event, we have 5 buildings with over 60 flame working stations for our guests to use for practicing techniques they have learned during the week, and to work with others.

You will enjoy a relaxed atmosphere in this rural setting at one of the most unique facilities that was specifically designed for lampworkers. Also included is:

  • All classes / demonstrations
  • Propane, oxygen, and adequate ventilation
  • Ample kiln space
  • 3 meals a day
  • Free bags of ice and chilled water taps
  • Shower rooms
  • BBQ / cooking area
  • Free camping on 8 acres of wooded land
  • Campfire areas
  • Free RV parking on premises / reservation required

Other fun events will include:

Friday Night poker Game:
It’s a tradition every year for the AGI poker game (Texas Hold ‘em) in which each player “buys in” with a piece of hand made glass.

Saturday Night Party:
This is the end of the week party in which we say goodbye to all of our new (and old) friends until next year. The party features live music, free beer, and a pig roast.

Private “resort”:
Our neighbors across the street have offered to open up their place to us, which is the closest thing to a “resort” as you will find around here which includes an in-ground swimming pool and a luxurious bar room with taps, billiard table, pinball, jukebox, and slot machines. This will be available to us at select times throughout the week.

Bill Rasmussen Lounge:
This fully furnished air conditioned lounge features a 60” widescreen TV, VCR, DVD player, with a library of glass blowing DVD’s and videos.

There are only 65 “Golden Tickets” available, so be sure to get yours before they’re gone!

Show and Tell
Last year was the first year we did this event session and it was a huge success.  All attendees are encouraged to bring samples of their work with them to show case at the beginning of the week.  This is a great way to break the ice and illicite conversation.  Seeing what your fellow guests make at the beginning of the week allows everyone to ask questions and promotes our motto, "We're all teachers, we're all students".
